C.A.R.E. - also known as the Center for Avian Rehabilitation and Education - is a local bird shelter and rescue organization that is close to my home, and close to my heart. My husband and I are bird lovers and we’ve spend quite a bit of time with the folks at C.A.R.E., and at their facility with the birds. They are a non-profit group who rescue exotic birds from negative situations - whether its household abuse, abandonment or similar situations.
