WordPress: SugarRayDodge ~ Lisa Sabin-Wilson

I was thrilled to welcome Dave back this month. Dave runs Sugar Ray Dodge - and I’ve simply lost count of the number of designs and redesigns we’ve completed for Dave over the years. This time, I welcome him back as a design client, but also now… as a client of Blogs About Hosting as he decided to make the move off Blogspot onto his own hosted blog, powered by WordPress.

Dave is an American solider that has been stationed in Iraq for quite sometime, up until this past week. In between his travels from Iraq to Kuwait and eventually, Germany - he’s kept in touch with me over details of his new blog design and WordPress set up. We’re not exactly on the same time zone, Dave and I - but somehow, we made it work. Dave’s had quite a history with the sugarraydodge.com domain, which you can read about on his new blog right here: Toenails, Or It’s Funny Until Someone Loses a Website. You’ll have to read it - but I would imagine that each of us has run into a few “Toenails” in our lifetime..I know I sure have!

This time around, Dave was looking for something funky in green and orange with a bit of a retro “Coca Cola” touch to it. I managed to provide him something bright, and dark - all at the same time, and he was pretty pleased with the results. It really was a fun, three column WordPress design to create for Dave - one that I hope to see him filling up with more content real soon, he’s got a fun, and very humorous style of writing!

Thank you, Dave - for allowing me to create a space for you on the web once again!

    Dave Says:

This was a great design. It is always a pleasure to work with Lisa. Now that we’re business associates, I guess I should call her “Miss Sabin” or whatever her name is now ;) But anyways, I highly recommend blogs-about AND Elegant Webscapes. Highly. You can’t get a higher recommendation than “highly” from me, and I am a big jerk and don’t hand out compliments so easily, so that should tell you something. Good job, Lisa. :)

You can still call me Lisa, btw - I’m not so formal ;) Although, my official married name is now “Lisa Sabin-Wilson” - - I’m still bragging about the new name - - I’ve been married for 4 months now, do you suppose that bragging will ever wear off? I sure hope not!

Thank you for the kind words, Dave - - you have got to be lying about the ‘big jerk’ part.. I’ve never seen it. Guess I’ve been lucky that way, eh?

    Cheers!
