The Next Best Thing Pet Care - WordPress Website ~ Lisa Sabin-Wilson

Kristie, along with her business partner, Heidi, dropped an order in a few weeks ago for their new business website at The Next Best Thing Pet Care - which is a pet sitting and pet care business that they run in their local Virginia community. Providing me with… a logo that they developed, I created a website to match.

The website is powered by WordPress, yet you’ll notice that there is no blog on that site at all. That was by design, Kristie and Heidi were not interested in blogging on this site - however, WordPress, as many of you know, is an excellent content management tool that can be used to build non-blog websites, as well as dynamic blogs.

They chose to host their new site on our servers at Blogs About Hosting - where Kristie already has two other sites she owns and operates, as well.

From their website:

Heidi and Kristie met on a Friday night at an adoption event for a local dog and cat rescue group. Through working together as regular volunteers to find new families for homeless animals the two discovered that their ideals were the same and that they worked well together. Many times they could be overheard discussing their desire to work with animals all the time, not just in their spare time. Through hard work and determination they’ve made their dream a reality.

A few months back, I did Kristie’s site at ResQDogz, which is her personal site where she talks about her experiences in animal rescue.

I have been designing websites and teaching newbies HTML and how to design websites. Lately I have been pushing blogs to make it easier for them to add content. I am guessing that you made this website by using the ’static page’ feature..??..
    Interesting.

Wordpress is really powerful not just for blogs but for simple websites as well.. It can also be integrated in static sites and can easily be customized…
