Peter owns and operates his own landscaping company in his local community in Virginia. He was looking for a website with a simple and clean design that he could manage and update easily, himself. Peter chose to host his site with our hosting services through Blogs About Hosting….

I provided him with a striking design using a photograph Peter provided of a landscaping project his company had been involved with. I think it’s always a good idea to use elements like that in the actual design of the site, particularly with a business that provides services – if you can use an example of your services in the design elements of the site, it provides a more unique design that is individual to the business, itself.

The entire site is built with WordPress – though, this is not a site that Peter wants to blog on, so you’ll notice there is no blog integrated into the site. However, the use of WordPress as a content management system for his website enables Peter to update his site on the fly – without having to mess with, or learn HTML or CSS. Also, in the future, if he wishes to add a blog to the site, he is able to easily enough with WordPress already a built-in feature.

Peter’s Landscape, Inc. became incorporated in 1996. Prior to that time the company operated under the name Peter’s Lawn Service. Although the company has grown the high standards by which we provide our services has remained the same.

Seeing as how I live in Wisconsin, and we’ve already had a bit of snowfall around these parts – it’s times like these that I wish a business like Peter’s was nearby – - he provides snow removal services, too! Though, I’m not sure Peter’s services extend from Virginia to Wisconsin!
