I launched the new site and new design of Pendon Paints. Penny, who is the owner of the site, is an accomplished painter and artist who wanted a simple blog site where she could display her work. Her instructions to us were “Very, very simple looking. Clean, cool colors. No froo-froo and no fancy stuff.”…

Penny loves lighthouses. She enjoys taking trips and tours of the New England states to take photos of various lighthouses out there, bringing them home - and bringing them to life on canvas! So, we gave her a lighthouse theme in soft, cool shades of blue and we kept it very, very simple with absolutely no ‘froo-froo-ness’.

Pendon Paints gets it’s name from the couple behind the site. Penny, and her husband Don - - together, they make up Pendon. Penny and Don also run Pendon Desktop - a local business that caters to the small business needs of local area businesses, helping them with their publishing needs (i.e. brochures, advertising campaigns, business cards, marketing materials, newsletters, etc). The couple make a pretty dynamic duo.

I should know. They are my parents!
