James at Exavius really takes some killer photographs and showcases them on his blog! You really should check out his photography skills, he has some fabulous work!

James already had a blog powered by Movable Type, however he was very interested in migrating over to WordPress… after hearing about it’s ease, functionality and some of the functions that he really was interested in giving a shot.

WordPress makes it easy to migrate from Movable Type by using their import script to import all of the archives, comments and trackbacks from the MT blog into the new WordPress blog. After we did that - we set about setting up his new template in such a way that allows him to show of some of his really great photography work.

If you visit his site at Exavius and refresh his site a few times, you’ll get the chance to see some of his great work in the top banner of the site. Each time you refresh it - - you get a new taste of his talent because the it’s a different banner every time! James provided us with his own photography work in order to accomplish this.

James intends on using this new blog set up as a photoblog, as well. As soon as he gets in and is able to work with his photographs - - the thumbnails that make up the bar underneath his banner will be clickable to a larger image and the post that corresponds with that image post.
