I had the most fabulous time working on lao ocean girl’s blog project. She had some very nifty ideas on the color scheme she wanted, along with the layout and overall feel of her new blog design. I love the rich red and browns used in the design - along with a touch of flowers and small detail.

When she contacted me, she was using Typepad as her blogging platform. First, she signed up for a new hosting account with us at Blogs About Hosting and we installed WordPress (which comes free with every new account). After that was all set up, we imported all of her Typepad archives into her new WordPress blog and then set up her beautiful new design when it was ready.
lao ocean girl lives in Korea and publishes some amazing photography on her blog, along with fun snippets of her life in Korea. Have a visit - and let her know we say hi!

Hi ewebscapes, your blogs are incredible. I have been playing a custom CSS blog to sharpen my skills and I cant get the banner to span across the entrie top of the page. I know the code is a div, or has something to do with a div overlay.
Do you know the line of css to make a banner to all the way across, like on the divas dream blog? I use typepad to play around with, would it work for typead? Or just wordpress?
