Today, we launched the new re-design of the Mosaic Consulting, Inc. website. Wanting to get away from updating their site using HTML (arrgghh!) and wanting an easier system to use - we recommended the use of WordPress as a content management system for their site….
First, they returned to us for an overhaul on their design. They came complete with ideas, color schemes and a basic layout in mind - - asking us to implement it for them. We did their site design 5 years ago - and are happy to have them return!
Mosaic does not keep a blog on their site, at all - however, that did not deter us from using one of the most popular blogging platforms on the web as a content system for their site.
Using WordPress?s phenomenal template system, we were able to create the different areas of Mosaic?s site using different templates in order to get it to do what we wanted it to do.
Now, instead of going through the painful process of manually updating their site using HTML (and?and?.yes! FRONTPAGE!) - they now are able to login to their WordPress system, click ?Post? and they are on their way to an easier alternative and a faster solution to create, maintain and manage their presence on the web!
It’s great to see Mosaic is still around - - their site is pretty content specific, though - so unless you have an interest in Corporate Legal Matter Management, there may not be much there for you to see. Unless, you are considering having your website overhauled with a great content management system, like WordPress - you can check them out and see a few possibilities of what can be done!
Other sites we’ve done that are using WordPress as a overall content managements system for their website solution:
