I’m happy to announce the launch of a brand new design for JoyT over at A Spot of T! Joy had very specific ideas in mind for what she wanted - provided the image that appears in the header graphic of the site. That image, as the original, was a challenge to work with.. - - but once I got started with my electronic scissors, crayons, ink and paste - the process went pretty smoothly.

The blog design for her Typepad blog is a 2 column format, designed purely with custom CSS along with custom made graphics to give her site the visual flair she was looking for.

Joy was very pleasant to work with and I enjoyed reading through her blog as I worked on her site redesign. Her blog is powered by Typepad and I provided her with a set of Advanced Templates to lay the foundation and style of her entire blog - including two static pages where she can write her biography about herself, and provide a page of 100 Things about herself (currently under construction!) to share with her readers. I integrated all of her existing TypeLists into the new design so that Joy doesn’t even miss ONE beat when blogging and adding new and fun links to her existing list of links!

If you look at her design - you’ll notice a cute little bee floating around at the top. If you give Joy a visit and ask her about that bee . . . she’ll might share the story of the bee with you!
