Surf Net Parents came to E.Webscapes in need of a fresh look for their Moveable Type professional blog. The goal? “Bring it into the 21st century with a fun, professional, conservative look. Not high-tech, not flashy. Fun, professional, relaxed, welcoming, trustworthy.”

Lisa customized the templates in Movable Type to accommodate custom post category display within a clean, three column design. Using a comprehensive category structure and subsequent category navigation, we created an organized and logical “Table of Contents” that Barbara wanted to provide to her site visitors to give them an ‘at-a-glance’ picture of what type of content the site contains.

She also wanted to make sure there was ample room on her site, within her articles, for advertising with Google ads, or any other ad program she participates in. We created a spacious area for the 300 x 250 ad banners on her pages that she is easily able to manipulate and change out ad banners when, and if, she needs to.

Barbara also wanted a vibrant color scheme to the over all design, but something simple that put the spotlight on her content more than anything else. The end result is a welcoming site that is well organized and easy to navigate.
