This is a great example of how flexible and useful WordPress is as a content management system. It’s not just for blogs anymore! Second Bloom re-purposes/recycles donated event flowers and brings them to hospice, rehab centers, nursing homes. Lisa worked with Lisa Baker and Nancy Pope on their design and development, bringing special attention to their non-profit through photos of them in action at first glance!

Incorporating colors of green, red, blue and white, Lisa designed a well balanced theme that is both delicate and striking. The organization of their content is still done through posts, pages and categories, but has been developed as a website, instead of a blog with comments. The theme takes advantage of the development of category specific templates to pull in targeted content, depending on which category you are viewing on their site.

Upon launch, the Second Bloom team had this to say:

The web site for Second Bloom turned out wonderful, thanks so much for all of your creative work, both technically and aesthetically!

Best wishes and much success to Second Bloom with their generous, compassionate efforts!
