Now THIS was a really fun blog for me to dig into! I just finished up Kristen’s scrapbooking blog called Quirky Bits N’ Pieces! Prior to today, Kristen had her blog hosted on a free account at WordPress.Com. However, she decided she wanted/needed more control over her own domain – so she jumped ship.. headed to us at Blogs About Hosting for a hosting solution and we set her up with her own WordPress powered blog with a GREAT new design. . .
Kristen is a HUGE fan of absolutely everything scrapbooking! Just one quick view of her site will tell you that much, as the design she wanted for her new domain revolves around some of her favorite scrapbook designs with its look and feel. Her design contains so many scrapbooky type elements from paper clips to binder clips… tape to torn paper and all scrappy points in between. The color scheme she chose was a rustic look in browns, creames and tans – - with a touch of red here and there to bring out some color in certain points.
I took a lot of creative and artistic license with some of the other elements of her site, like the comment listing and comment form. Here, have a look:

Nothing like a little spilled glitter and glue on some torn paper to create a little scrapbook on the web!
Thanks so much, Kristen, for allowing me the chance to get out my virtual glue and scissors in order to put together a fun and scrappy look for your neat scrapbooking blog! I really had tons of fun!

While I’m not a big fan of scrapbooking, that is the COOLEST design for comments I think I’ve ever seen (next to what you guys did for my supersecret Goddesses blog to be unveiled soon!). Great work, guys.

I can’t wait for your Goddesses blog to be unveiled
I’ve had that one sitting in draft form in my portfolio for a while now
This scrapbook site was really a lot of creative fun for me, I like taking those different elements, like comments, and making them into something special and unique
Thanks, Sheryl!
