Your payment has been completed - thank you for new order!
Now that you have paid the project fees, you can expect the following:
- Time line for your project: As stated in the original quote, the time line is 20-30 business days from the date of your payment. This does exclude weekends and US holidays. We recognize the following holidays here at E.Webscapes: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve.
- Our time line does not necessarily reflect how long it takes to complete your order, but rather, it reflects the amount of design projects currently in our active queue. While we are processing and taking the first steps in your project, we’re in the middle of, or finishing up projects for other clients. You will hear from your designer shortly after your payment has been made, and he/she will provide you with the expectations for your project.
- Generally, the phases of each design project go like this:
- Your designer will gather all the necessary information needed to begin working on your design concept
- Based on your specifications, your designer will create a graphic mock-up and share it with you for your review. Your project includes up to two design round edits, so please be as specific as possible when communicating with your designer on the ideas you have for your design so we can get it right for you the first (maybe the second) time. We are focused toward providing you with a final product that you are completely satisfied with, however we need your help to get there! Please be aware that additional graphic mockups may incur additional fees
- After you’ve reviewed and approved the design graphic mockup, your designer will take the time necessary to take that graphic mockup and turn it into your blog theme. This includes a good deal of coding - CSS, HTML, PHP.. in some cases, Java and Ajax, depending on your project.
- Once your designer has completed the coding, he/she will load your theme up on one of our test sites so that you are able to view your new theme in a live environment. This way, you can click around and see how the different elements work in your ne theme (i.e. comments, archiving, etc).
- At this time, your designer will work with you on any minor modifications or adjustments you may need before installing the theme on your own domain
- Our Client Desk servers as a project management tool for us, and a communication tool for you and your designer. Each time you, or your design, updates your project ticket, you will receive an email notification alerting you that there has been a new update made to your project. That email will always contain a special link to allow you to access your own project ticket. This is a nice solution for us after a few years of frustratingly finding client emails in our spam/junk filters - - causing inconvenient delays in communication and project time lines
- Once the project is complete - your designer will provide you with your theme files in a .zip format for you to save on your own computer. This is handy to have in case something happens to your theme - at the very least you have the original files to restore, if needed
- Your project ticket will be closed 3 days after your designer has signed off on your project. Any bugs or problems need to be reported to your designer within those three days. After three days time, any fixes or adjustments will be subject to our hourly fee.
