Nelson County Life Magazine ~ Lisa Sabin-Wilson

The folks from Nelson County Magazine contacted me for a custom designed template for their WordPress powered blog. Nelson County Life is a monthly lifestyle magazine published monthly and distributed in Virginia. Yvette and Tommy Stafford run the joint and came to me with some ideas…

They needed a 3 column set to store all of their content. The first column handles all of their advertiser listings and weather listings for their local areas of distribution. The second column starts with a nice display of their most current magazine cover - - I set it up so they can easily replace that image every month. Directly beneath the magazine cover display is a map from Widget box displaying their local area on the map - just in case you’re in town and want to stop by!

Yvette was so happy she told me that they were planning on doing back flips off the back of a pick up truck - - it was then that I KNEW for sure that this was Virginia we were talking about. Heh. I’m waiting for pictures of them doing back flips off the back of a truck - and will be keeping fingers crossed that no one gets hurt!
