Long before Lindsey became the official Asst. Project Manager for me here at E.Webscapes, she was a long-time client and I’ve been doing her blog designs for almost 4 years now. I’m always thrilled with the opportunity to do Lindsey’s blog designs, and this time around it was a LOT of fun because she wanted a Christmas/Holiday theme for her blog - - JUST in time for the holidays, and just in time to get me in the holiday spirit! So, I cranked up the holiday tunes on my iTunes and got to work. . .

I had a lot of fun with all the different holiday-type elements from the Christmas tree and fireplace scene in the top corner, to the special Christmas treatment I gave to her recent Twits from Twitter at the top of her blog, and the display of the number of comments per post using the cute little Nutcrackers at the bottom of each post! Even her comments display got special holiday treatment with some Christmas tags, ornaments and holly:

Lindsey had this to say when it was all done:
…I’m sure you’ve noticed, I’ve done a little Christmas decorating around the blog! You can thank Lisa for the AWESOME design that she’s made for me! I can’t express how excited I am about this design. It makes me want to drink hot chocolate by the fire while listening to Nat King Cole!
I had so much fun with this Christmas design, it almost makes me want to do my own blog up for Christmas!
Lindsey Says:
I LOVE IT! And this design has particular meaning for me this year because this year I am putting up my first Christmas tree!

Yay for Christmas firsts! I remember my very very VERY first Christmas tree was teeeeeeeeny tiny and only large enough to sit on top of the table in my first apartment. No matter what, though - that tree was the best one ever, didn’t matter if it was only two feet tall! Have fun!

Those are great christmas design elements. I don’t think enough websites use christmas themed colors and graphics enough or properly for that matter. Gave me some great ideas for our website. Thanks!
