Our latest client, Mercer On Value has been completed. Chris Mercer is the brains behind the blog. Together with Paul Chaney from Radiant Marketing - we set about pulling together a dynamic place for Chris to blog all about his services…..

Paul Chaney runs a fantastic blog consulting business at Radiant Marketing. I’ve collaborated with him on a number of projects in the past. When your company is looking to launch its own business blog - Paul is the go to guy for this. He, smartly, contracts with E.Webscapes for design services . . . but takes the rest on himself from marketing, optimization, training and topical consultation. In Pauls own words: “I’ve dedicated the entire thrust of my business to helping businesses learn to communicate better online via the use of blogs. Business blogging is all I do!”

Mercer On Value requested two design mockups to choose from, and they went with the look that closely matches the look and feel of their newsletter. After a few design edits, tweaks and pulls - we created a design the Chris was comfortable with. Using Movable Type as a blogging platform, and hosted with us at Blogs About Hosting - he is all set up and running.

In Chris Mercer’s words:

I have enjoyed looking at the world from the perspective of one who values businesses for many years now. That perspective has evolved into one that causes me to examine much of what I see and hear based on implications related to value and values ? as they pertain to businesses, projects, strategies or whatever.

Mercer on Value is designed as a vehicle to discuss what I see going on in the world and business from the perspective of value, broadly defined. So this blog is an extension of the value-related thinking I?ve been doing for years. Historically, I have written and spoken about technical issues in valuation, valuation methods, and the development of valuation theory. So unless I can relate one of those technical subjects to a particular matter or issue, I won?t be addressing them in Mercer on Value.

A now-deceased mentor told me years ago, ?Chris, you?ve got to talk to the numbers until the numbers talk to you.? The numbers are talking to me all the time, so now I have to blog.

If this topic is of interest to you, then, by all means, give Chris a visit and tell him I sent you!
