Dino completed the design project for Wedgewood Homes Properties this month and provided them not only with a professional design, but also set them up with the WordPress content management system so they can easily manage and maintain their own site….

Wedgewood Homes are not only home builders, they are also custom home designers. Wanting to reach the very competitive market that has a lot of speculative home builders, but not many that also design and customize, they are targeting those homebuyers that want a special of a kind home. Valerie, of Wedgewood Home Properties says: “We are great at hand holding and helping confused or difficult buyers get just what they want for their budget“.

They were looking for a professional design that would allow them to include pictures of their homes, along with information on their home design and building services. They originally questioned if they should use WordPress or go with a ‘real website’. Boy oh boy do we LOVE that kind of opportunity for education around here! WordPress, of course, allows them to build that website - and then some! By using WordPress as a content management system, they are able to make easy and regular updates to their site, as well as maintain several (unlimited, really) static pages to keep their client base up to date on their services.

Moral of the story: websites don’t get more ‘real’ than they do with WordPress! You can run a full blown website using WordPress, very easily! Now that Dino has set Wedgewood Home Properties up with their very own WordPress powered website, they are happily finding out just how easy it is!
