This design was all about the dots! Judy from Golden Swamp had some very specific ideas and concepts about the dots I created and used in her new blog design. The dots needed to be connected.. but, yet – at the same time.. they needed to appear as if they were free floating, at the same time. Connected, like a network…but still remaining independant, one from the other – - Judy definitley had a conceptual design in mind…
Somtimes, getting those concepts from your brain to the designers fingertips is half the battle in collaborating on a custom, individual look and visual layout. Judy and I got there, though! Here’s what she had to say about the dots, and the overall design once it was completed:
Yes, YES, YES!! PERFECT! Lisa, I love what you have done. Let’s go with it, as is. …I can’t tell you how happy you have made me. The design is top-flight, fun and has a suggestion of networks that is exactly correct.
I gotta add that your use of the dots is inspired!! I love the frog, the buttons across the top, etc. Just great!!
Many, many thanks. I am thrilled,
Judy
I told Judy that I would never look at dots the same way, ever again! I contemplated dots in a way I never had before! Heh!
Judy had also been experiencing some difficulties with her current hosting provider – so we got her set up with her own account with our hosting division here at Blogs About Hosting. Not only did we transfer her Golden Swamp domain.. but 5 of her other domains, as well (since our hosting packages at Blogs About Hosting gives you the ability to host multiple domains on one account this was a perfect solution!). I did the transfer of all her sites – - data, files, databases, etc.. and then set up her custom design on her GoldenSwamp blog and she’s all ready to go!
