Elizabeth from Equestrian Pilates contacted us because she just new there had to be an easier way to maintain her own web site! Prior to this project, her web site was a static HTML based site where updates needed to be done manually, thought the regular help of a paid web designer. I introduced Elizabeth to WordPress and we talked about how insanely easy site maintenance and content management is with WordPress – - and she was sold!

We used the main parts of Elizabeth’s existing design, and added a few design elements and embellishments to create her new custom WordPress theme. This project also included the import of her existing static HTML content into WordPress pages and posts, and creating a custom navigation structure out of her pages, categories and articles – along with custom post thumbnails to enhance the visual display of her written work. After implementing the basics, we also deployed the WP E-Commerce plugin to handle her shopping carts needs. Elizabeth sells her E-Books, Videos and training sessions all from her web site, in a convenient and easy-to-manage e-commerce solution straight from her WordPress dashboard! We also added some great features to her site like rotating testimonials from her clients, a rotating banner graphic on the top of her page where she can showcase several of her clients and colleagues and custom post and category pages for different presentations of her content. |
