Sydney, from the Diet Me blog, requested a new custom design for her WordPress blog about all things diet and healthy! We’ve done work in the past for Sydney, so this is not her first time around the E.Webscapes block - and we were happy to see her back for more! I completed this design a while ago and she has since taken the site down, but it was such a fun design to do - how could I not post about it?…

Sydney was looking for something fresh and fun with a bright color scheme of greens, pinks and purples:
She chose a cute illustration from iStock for me to use in her design and I went to work creating a fully custom 2-column design for her WordPress blog. She wanted to make sure that the sidebar was as clutter-free as possible, so I did code up a nice tabbed archive container that uses jQuery to manage the navigation … all of her categories, archives, recent posts and recent comments wrapped up into on nice, neat little container. The rest of the sidebar is widgetized to make it easy for her to make updates and changes to the sidebar content, as needed.
As I mentioned, her site is no longer online - - you can check out our portfolio for a full screenshot of the theme, or - you can click that little thumbnail to the left, it will pop open a full shot of her site when it was up.
