Bill, from Daily Buzz Coffee, approached me to set up his new coffee blog using the latest Movable Type 4 blogging platform. He had an already existing site that was built in HTML that he was updating manually. My job was to port his site over to Movable Type to make it much easier for him to update. . .

Using his main site graphics, I built a new theme for his MT blog from scratch. The site, originally, was done in tables with a ton of inline styling, so I didn’t use any of the code from his original site - just the graphics - and created a custom stylesheet (CSS) for the foundation and format of the site.

This was my first time working with the new MT4 and, as with anything new - it took me a bit to get used to the changes in their template engine. Once I got used to it, however, I really do like the way everything is organized.

Daily Buzz Coffee is a coffee shop/supplier in Arizona. Aside from coffee, they also do fresh bakery and non-coffee beverages, as well - - if you’re in the area, drop in an say hello! Let Bill know I sent you - perhaps he’ll give you a discount!

This is Bill’s second project with E.Webscapes. The first time he came to us was for his personal blog at Iconoblog, quite some time ago. Also wrapped up into this project, he wanted me to update his personal blog templates for MT4 - so I accomplished that at the same time, as well.
