Once upon a time, there was a lady named Nan McElroy who wrote a book called Italy: Instructions for Use, and Nan came to E.Webscapes to build an entire web site around her book, and other books she has written (or plans to write). Leanne completed Nan’s web site this month. . .

With a design and color scheme that closely matches Nan’s style of writing, as well has the cover of her book, Italy Instructions was built with WordPress, Custom CSS and custom graphic work.

Using the extremely easy feature provided by WordPress to create a front page using the static page feature, Italy Instructions does not contain a blog - but does take full advantage of the ‘bloggish’ features available with WordPress, like categories and archiving.

Taking it a step further, Leanne created a very nice Photo Gallery within Nan’s WordPress installation so she is easily able to upload and share her pictures from Italy (and beyond!). Coming soon to Italy Instructions will be the built-in E-Commerce section where Nan will be able to build her store, with a shopping cart and ability to accept online payments, all within her WordPress administration panel.

If you’re a fan of Italy - or even just planning on going there someday, check out Nan’s site at Italy Instructions and read about her adventures, advice on travel and download her PDF documents that are chock full of advice and recommendations for planning your Italian get away adventure!
