This is my 5th trip down to Austin Texas for the annual South By Southwest Interactive Festival. I always have a fantastic time during my visits to SXSW – – I get the chance to rub noses with some favorite geeks across the internet, from all points on the globe and do a little promotion of my various books and projects that I have going on at the time.

I am leaving…

I will be attending this years (2009) SXSW Interactive Festival again this year, and I’m really excited! This makes my third trip to Austin for the SXSW Festival and, I have to say, if you’ve never gone and have the opportunity to this year, or in the future – it’s WELL worth the trip!

We flew back from Bonaire, South America this past Sunday. My husband and I, that is. Chris and I were married on 6/24 in a beautiful ceremony in upstate New York. The three hour flight from Milwaukee to Houston was a nail biter the whole way. You know the kind of turbulance that lifts you as your behind a foot off your seat? Yep – I had three straight hours of that, with no let up.
