It’s December already – can you believe it?? Why does it always feel like the holidays creep up and surprise me every year? It’s not like the holiday season changes every year..but it does seem like a surprise every time. In between doing a little shopping for my friends and family and doing some holiday prep around the house…like putting up the lights, decorating the tree and baking cookies – we’ve been pretty busy here …

The folks over at WordPress have been crazy busy, haven’t they? In the very short time since I published my first book, WordPress For Dummies, in November 2007, we have seen some fantastic changes in the WordPress platform. The talent out there is inspiring and I had the opportunity to talk to several designers from diverse backgrounds..it was really an interesting couple of weeks.
