For me, 2009 marks the end of a full decade of making things pretty on the web, for myself…

I will be attending this years (2009) SXSW Interactive Festival again this year, and I’m really excited! This makes my third trip to Austin for the SXSW Festival and, I have to say, if you’ve never gone and have the opportunity to this year, or in the future – it’s WELL worth the trip!

It’s December already – can you believe it?? Why does it always feel like the holidays creep up and surprise me every year? It’s not like the holiday season changes every year..but it does seem like a surprise every time. In between doing a little shopping for my friends and family and doing some holiday prep around the house…like putting up the lights, decorating the tree and baking cookies – we’ve been pretty busy…

I’m excited to be able to forward the announcement of WordCamp Chicago – 2009 coming to the Chicagoland area soon! I am co-organizing the event with my friends, Brian Gardner (of Revolution Theme), Cory Miller (of iThemes) and Wendy Piersall of Sparkplugging.com…

After a brief hiatus over the past month to catch us up on ongoing projects, we’re happy to announce that we’ve re-open our Design Request Form and are able to start taking your requests for design orders at this time. E.Webscapes specializes in for WordPress Design, designs for Movable Type, Expression Engine, Typepad and various other content management systems, discussion forum platforms, photo blog, photo and art galleries and E-Commerce setups.

I will be attending Blog World and New Media Expo in Las Vegas, September 19 -21. I’d really love the opportunity to be able to meet any of you, in person – so if you’re planning on attending, please let me know!
