Blog Design: WonderSpot ~ Lisa Sabin-Wilson

Emily from WonderSpot has herself a beautiful and fabulous new blog design for her WordPress blog! Joni recently completed her new design and launched it on her blog, in all of its pastel glory. Emily’s blog is a personal blog that contains her writings on life, politics and faith - she wanted a beautiful new design to inspire her writings. . .

Emily and Joni worked closely together to create just the visual look she was going for. “Not too frilly.. maybe just a little bit retro” <-- those were some of the ideas that Emily started Joni off with. From there, Joni worked with her on choices for imagery and artwork for her site design - along with a gorgeous pastel color scheme .. check it out:

Together, they experimented with a few different options for the layout and the use of the color scheme until they got just the right look. Joni then proceeded to code up the templates to make up the Custom WordPress Theme, and then installed it on her site and she was all set! Emily was thrilled with the design and a very satisfied customer.

Thanks! The directions seem simple enough. And I like the images centered with border, so I doubt I’ll ever want to change that. It keeps it clean looking.

I think I’m all set! I saved the backup to my hard drive, just in case.

Everything seems to be working great on the site, though.
