Shelley runs a really cool fashion blog for fashionista wanna-be’s called The IT Lists. On her blog, she writes about fashion, trends and great fashion tips and finds…everything todays IT girl needs. Shelley contacted us to freshen up her look. She was using a modified free theme from the WP Themes site and wanted a custom look. She had plenty of ideas and really took an active role in the overall design concept, layout and color scheme. I finished up her blog design this month. . .

The IT Lists, Fashion Blog, Fashionista Blog, WordPress Custom Blog Design, WordPress Designer Lisa Sabin-Wilson author of WordPress For Dummiesfashion blogging, celebrity fashion, accessories, shoes, handbags, fashion designers, fashion design, blogWordPres Theme, Custom WordPress Design, WPDesigner, WP Designer, WP Design, WP Themes, Custom CSS, Custom Graphic Design, Feminine Blog Design, Female, Girly, Trendy, Hip Blog Design, WordPress Powered 3 column blog design

Shelly wanted to make sure that she had plenty of room to spotlight her posts, which frequently contain moderately sized images of her latest fashion and beauty find - and yet still keep a 3 column blog that provided her with enough room for her advertisers and sponsors. She wanted the design to be clean, with plenty of white space - but still keeping with the trendy design that she had in mind. She provided me with several images from Istockphoto.com that she was interested in using, along with her preferred color scheme of teal, white with splashes of red/pink.

I gave her blog design a few more custom flourishes in the comments section of her blog, as well as a nice list of previous articles that aren’t displaying on the front page of her blog, but she wants to keep her readers aware of - - you’ll find that little gem at the bottom of each of the pages of her blog.

During the course of her project, Shelley mentioned: “I feel like we are birthing. But thank god it didn’t take nine months.” - - boy do I know how THAT feels! :)

At the very end of her project, Shelley was thrilled:

I’m very, very happy. Lisa, you have my officical thumbs up! Please free to use my site in your portfolio. LOVE IT. Literally love “it.” THANK YOU so much for everything. Shelley

Thank you so much, Shelley - I had a blast!
