Blog Design Studio Seeks Designer ~ Lisa Sabin-Wilson

We have some big plans in store for 2006 and our client list has been growing by leaps and bounds - we are seeking to hire some new talent to join our team here at E.Webscapes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Documented experience in graphic design and web standards and development
• Experience with popular content management systems. (MT and TypePad experience is a STRONG PLUS)
• HTML/CSS knowledge is a requirement
• Truthful, open and honest communication with all people at all times
• Excellent time management. Ability to work on a deadline
• While the number one qualification for this opening is a strong sense of design (aesthetics) along with strong web skills, we’re also looking for individuals with great critical thinking skills.
• We run shop like a consultancy, which means you need to know your stuff - and “their stuff” (whoever they may be).
• A portfolio of blog sites you have designed that we can review. The portfolio should show your skills, creativity and flexibility in design.

Work Environment

• Your home.
• In your pajamas, if you like
• This is part time work

We’re looking for someone who

• Thinks design is about solving problems, not making them
• Likes to have a lot of fun tinkering around inside the guts of a blog
• Gets more kicks out of removing elements from a page than adding them
• Wants to learn, push themselves, and make the web a better place to be!
• Doesn’t look at a blog program as JUST a blog program anymore

Also note: please do not apply if you do not have experience with creating templates and designs for blog programs. We are not just looking for a graphic designer - - this person ALSO needs to be well versed in CSS, Web Standards and the coding required for many of the different blog programs out there.
