Casa of the Permian Basin is a local chapter of the National CASA Program, the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association, together with its state and local members, is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. They approached us to build and design their new local blog to reach out to their local area of Southern Texas . . .

Looking for something warm, friendly and easy to navigate, I completed their design with a warm, earth toned color scheme that also incorporated the use of the National CASA logo at the top of the site, to further identify their group as part of a national program. CasaThis WordPress powered blog utilizes the blog as the main page of the site, but also extends into several static pages that allow them to further present their program information to people in the area looking to find information about child services. Utilizing several plugins for WordPress, I also set them up with e-mail subscriptions services so readers can subscribe to their site via email to be notified every time they update their site with new content, SEO optimization and RSS Feed handling through Feedburner.
